This one-day specialist Color grading course gives established editors, with a limited knowledge of online and finishing techniques, the opportunity to learn key techniques to improve ʻthe lookʼ and output quality of their programs and VTs ready for transmission.
In a quick turnaround environment, editors are under increased pressure to understand grading, graphic design and sound. This course offers a template of easy to follow solutions to achieve beautifully finished images on screen. The trainer will navigate editors through the essential tools in Final Cut Pro and Color used to repair, improve and stylize images to give a professional look and feel for a variety of productions.
Basic knowledge of the Macintosh OS and editing terminology is required Level one Color End User certification is required. Ideally students will have attended a Color 101 course.
